About Us
There are too many places to see. Why didn't we take a year off before we started working after college? Probably because we were too broke. Why did every job transition become a mad scramble to get set up in a new place? Why didn't we take a few months off? No one ever wants a new hire in three months. It's always urgent. We need you in two weeks. Then once you're working, there's always more to get done. You can always look forward to the weekends. Look forward to a week long vacation. Do a blitz tour of a National Park once a year. All the things we want to do will be there when we retire, right? That thought always made us uncomfortable. How about we travel now, and let the remaining years of jobs and work be the thing that will still be there when we're done? Charles Bukowski said there's nothing worse than too late.

We picked up a van (shout out to the guys at New Wave Vans!). The red one spoke to us the most, and Paprika seemed to be a fitting name. So now we're giving this website a try to keep family and friends updated on what we're doing. Huge thanks to our families for all their support, we would never have been able to go on this trip without it!
